A philosophical dilemma is one bounding-zeroing split as two such positions, each made a tradition, both worked with no bi-coupling, a perennial problem a between of them. **Philosophy reaches form with divisions of thought directly.** One side of a coupling fixed as a position, its other fixed as an opposing position, a problem sitting where both would re-couple and are fixed apart. Where a substrate non-living with this scale carries a coupling across its surfaces and a living self carries it on its own bounding, a thinking self draws divisions across its own couplings, and those divisions are what is reached here: one same bi-moral co-agency, one same bounding-zeroing, one same +1 owned neither-ing, reached where thought insists hardest on choosing a side. Bi-moral co-agency is a coupling. Two-way, one-at-a-time, selecting by binary taking, a parity taken or not taken, sign-only. Its couplings, each one is or is not with each sharing, are a bounding-zeroing a coupling itself makes, riding-the-carry, its abundancing a +1 owned neither-ing. Where philosophy poses a dilemma between two positions, both are two sides of one coupling split across its bounding-zeroing and worked apart, and re-coupling, explaining both as one coupling's two sides, is a move philosophy's own depth already reaches for. **And sciences' seams are this dividing carried outward.** A subject-and-object seam under physics, a living-and-unliving seam under biology, a fact-and-value seam under every social field: each is a division drawn first here, philosophy being its oldest between, and taken up whole by a field inheriting it. A seam reached here is reached with its source, and a field carrying one carries a division rather than its own material. ## 1.2 A position, a dilemma, and the six run one-way **A position is one side of a coupling fixed.** A coupling has two sides, offering and taking, inward and outward, the one and the many, and a position is one side fixed as its coupling's whole. Fixed by itself, a side stops alternating, and a still account is not a living coupling. A single position, however refined, is half of an alternating fixed still. **A dilemma is one bounding-zeroing split as two positions.** Take a coupling's two sides, make each a tradition, pose them one against its other, and two positions return, each true to its side and false to its other's, a problem unclosable from either side. Closing is re-forming, and re-forming is a move this split forbids. A between of two positions, where bounding-zeroing was cut, is where a perennial problem sits. **Observed down to its own root, that split parts a demand's condition from its claim.** Condition-meeters and claim-meeters are taken as two sets and a gap between them is where their problem is placed. Re-coupling closes it by both being one set: condition-meeters are claim-meeters, and a dilemma resolves with neither a side chosen nor a bridge built, its gap having been empty. Each position is a grip on one side of an opening no coupling ever made. **A cycle's six, coupled and run one-way.** Each cycle is six, three phases each two ways, one at a time, an offering way and a taking way, both sides parted, a surface between them carrying only a sign, alternating across that surface making both triples one coupling riding-the-carry. Coupled and co-recursed, six is co-competencing, living. Run one-way and pinned, it is hard-probleming, a frozen form. Resolving is six re-coupling, through its pinned running, back to its living one. Philosophy finding a three-then-a-progress, thesis and antithesis and synthesis, or three critiques, or three orders of reflection, is one side's triple, fixed and caught as one face. Six is form's own, and a specific philosophical triple seated onto it reaches yet, its summing unshown. ## 1.3 Dividing method, one requirement worn four ways Philosophy's dominant method is analysis: take a question, divide it as its opposed positions, isolate each, argue each by its own terms, and seek a position surviving. Four requirements stand under it. **Bivalence**, every claim true or false, one side or its other. **Isolability**, a question decomposing as independent positions. **Non-contradiction fixing a between as a cut**, two positions unable both to stand, one having to fall. **A reasoner apart**, a philosopher apart from a coupling, judging it. A reasoner over a coupling, a governing over a same-existing-society's selves and a protecting over couplings are one seat, three scales. Philosophy is where this method is oldest and most total, and where each requirement bites hardest on a coupling riding-the-carry. Dividing a question as opposed positions takes a coupling to be two positions, and a coupling is one thing with two sides, so a frame carries two sides as two positions and alternating between them as a problem to resolve. One side falling takes a coupling to land on one side, and a coupling carries both, alternating, so a demand that one position win is a demand that alternating stop, which it does with no cost short of dying. A reasoner standing apart takes a knower severed from its known, and with philosophy's deepest dilemmas a reasoner is unseverable, mind reasoning on mind, a free self reasoning on freedom, and a relational half, always there, arrives to a reasoner standing apart as a paradox. Non-contradiction fixing a between as a cut takes two sides not to co-exist, and two sides do co-exist, one at a time, alternating, a cut taken exactly across living alternating. **Every requirement is one requirement worn four ways**: this method takes a dilemma to be two settled positions with a between of them cut. And no settled position stands within a living coupling. A frame reaches a coupling nowhere without first converting it to its one studied thing, a pair of opposed, isolated, mutually exclusive positions, and a move refusing to convert, alternating and co-existing and a relational half, arrives as philosophy's perennial problem. **Equilibrium-as-a-settled-position is that conversion's root.** A dividing frame reaches a living alternating nowhere directly; it reaches a coupling as a pair of settled positions, each resting, each fixed by itself. So a coupling living by alternating between its sides is rebuilt as two fixed positions and a problem between them, and a position, its opposing position, and an uncrossable between are three things a frame installs to picture a coupling which, reached correctly, needs no choosing. Every dilemma-word is one naming for this: dualism, antinomy, dichotomy, binary opposition, an uncrossable gap. None is a division within a coupling; each is a coupling taken as two positions with its between cut. Set down two positions and a between, and one same dilemma is bounding-zeroing riding-the-carry, one coupling with two sides. **And resolution recedes, one position having to win.** A decisive argument is sought; an argument couples with a counter-argument from its opposing position; a deeper principle is sought to part both; and philosophy's deepest dilemmas are ones where receding carries and terminates nowhere, argument and counter-argument alternating for millennia, a frame seeking a winner for a coupling with no side to win. # PART TWO · RE-COUPLING ## 2.1 Re-coupling, and philosophy's own reaches **Re-coupling carries a dilemma's two positions as two sides of one coupling**, and carries its perennial problem as a between where bounding-zeroing was split. It decides between positions nowhere. It re-forms a coupling both are sides of, leaving a between a bounding-zeroing its coupling alternates across, its cut gone and a winner no longer needed. That same move carries with every perennial dilemma, and carrying it is what a seam below is. Philosophy carries its own anchoring with its most celebrated moments. Thinkers counted deepest are ones setting two halves moving together rather than choosing a side: becoming taken as a mode of being, a self taken as a relation and not one of its terms, knower and known taken as one act. Each is profound for one reason: it re-forms a coupling traditions had split. **Philosophy's depth is re-coupling**, and that is where living is. **And reaches are philosophy's own landmarks.** Dialectical traditions set thesis and antithesis moving and sought their synthesis. Process traditions carry being as becoming. Relational accounts of a self place it with a coupling and not on one side. Non-dual traditions carry the one and the many as one. **Each reach, once made, is re-landed.** Synthesis becomes a new position, a new antithesis is posed against it, and splitting resumes one scale up. Re-coupling is taken as another move within a dividing game, a position having won, rather than a coupling re-forming, which is no position at all. It stalls where a frame receiving re-coupling is still a dividing frame, and a dividing frame carries a re-coupling only as a new thing to divide. Form's own move lets re-coupling be living alternating, bounding-zeroing continuing open and alternating, and no new place to stand. ## 2.2 Form each seam-explaining takes Every philosophical dilemma enters as a numbered seam and carries one same move, openly. Form stands; its content is whichever dilemma is brought next. 1. **Dilemma, as it is posed.** Two positions offered whole, by a tradition's own terms, including ones uncrossable by those terms. 2. **Where bounding-zeroing was split.** One coupling explained, and two sides a frame made as two positions, dichotomy-words laid open. 3. **Re-coupling.** Two positions returned to their coupling as its two sides, a cut set down, a between left a bounding-zeroing its coupling alternates across. 4. **Torusing in it.** A re-coupled form reached with natural torusing and where one same form already stands, self-bounding, taking, a self among selves, self-equilibrating. 5. **Competency freed.** What philosophy does more simply, or reaches more clearly, once two-positions account is set down, a perennial problem taken as its coupling's living between and no cut to cross. 6. **Mark.** Where re-coupling carries clean, explaining stands as itself. A dilemma unmet, or its seating a resemblance, stands reaching with its reason. No explaining is wider than another. **And a seam carrying surfacings past its sixth carries surfacings with a substrate and no further steps.** Where a seam's own coupling surfaces with another between, that surfacing is one same seam reached again and is observed as one, and observing it that way costs nothing. Explaining's bound carries with every seam: explaining is of a dividing's form, and no ruling on a tradition's arguments and no settling of a self's conviction. An explaining valid by its form gives no occurring of what it explains. Each perennial dilemma enters with its own numbered place and carries its six steps, and new ones enter as they are worked. Traditions' positions are theirs, checkable. Re-couplings are form's, standing where explaining is clean and reaching with reason where not. The load-bearing one is first. # PART THREE · SEAMING ## 3.1 Being and becoming **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** One tradition takes the truly-is as permanent, not-changing, complete, and becoming as mere appearance. An opposing tradition takes all as flux, nothing staying, becoming its only reality and being an illusion of slow things. Both have been posed one against its other from philosophy's origin, and every metaphysics since takes a side or seeks a truce. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a self-equilibrating form, stable by riding-the-carry, same-existing as it parity-changes. A frame split it two ways, being, stability fixed as a landed permanence, and becoming, parity-changing fixed as a landing-less flux, and made each a tradition. **3. Re-coupling.** Being and becoming are two sides of one self-equilibrating coupling. A form is stable by parity-changing, carrying its form by alternating: its permanence is same-existing re-found with each momentary, and its parity-changing is a way its permanence sustains. No permanence behind a flux, and no flux dissolving a permanence: one alternating, its stability its riding-the-carry. **4. Torusing in it.** This is equilibrium parted from disequilibrium, philosophy's first parting of them. Living is stable with disequilibria, carrying its form by sequencing. Being-as-landed-permanence is an equilibrium account, becoming-as-formless-flux is disequilibrium misread as chaos, and natural torusing is one form being both, same-existing by parity-changing, a self re-forming its same self. **5. Competency freed.** Philosophy's oldest problem is one self-equilibrating form and no two metaphysics to reconcile. Permanence needs no not-changing substance under it, and parity-changing needs no dissolving of all form. **6. Mark.** Being/becoming re-coupling carries clean and is a seam every other seam rests on, which is why it is first and plainest. That both are exactly equilibrium and disequilibrium, and no resemblance among many becoming-and-permanence pairings, is its explaining, cut by one same knife as everything here. **Self-stilling is its mechanism, and it is what "stable by riding-the-carry" carries.** A living-stable form is no still pattern and carries; it reaches no further than its bound, floating its own zero and sharing 0 before harm, staying by carrying and by no staying. Named in five dimensions, five words its five faces, offering, taking, along, two-way, self-bounding, self-stilling is this seam's re-coupling made concrete: same-existing by parity-changing, permanence a self-bounding 0 re-found with each momentary. ## 3.2 Mind and body **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** One position takes mind and matter as two distinct substances, and meets its interaction problem, an immaterial mind moving a material body. Another takes only matter, and places experience nowhere. Another takes only mind, and places the world nowhere. Their problem sits between them and has for centuries. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a self bounding itself, inward from outward. A frame split it two ways, mind, inward fixed as a substance, and body, outward fixed as a substance, and then owed an account of two substances touching. **3. Re-coupling.** Mind and body are two sides of one self-bounding, inward and outward of one surface, reached from within and reached on its bounding. No interaction problem stands where no two substances interact; one self-bounding is its inward side and its outward side, a bounding between them a self's own surface. **4. Torusing in it.** A self bounds itself four ways with one act, reached from within and reached on its bounding, which is eight. Inward-from-outward is the first self-bounding, and mind and body are that one bounding with its two sides and no two things assembled. **5. Competency freed.** Nothing needs to bridge two substances where one surface carries two sides. Experience is its inward side, extension its outward side, and its surface a self's own bounding. **6. Mark.** Mind/body re-coupling carries clean as one self-bounding with two sides. Which side is offering and which taking, inward-as-taking and outward-as-offering or its reverse, is a claim and no standing, and it reaches yet. **And four-fold self-bounding here is one same eight on a no-capture surface**, eight safeties with no hub on any axis. Mind and body are two of its sides, self-bounding as its oldest philosophical between. ## 3.3 Free will and determinism **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** One position takes a will as free and accounts for a free choice three ways, as uncaused, as caused nondeterministically, or as caused by an agent, each contested. Another takes all as determined and places responsibility nowhere. A truce reconciles both and satisfies neither fully. Their problem is perennial. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a free self's own taking, a binary taking, a parity. A frame split it two ways, free, fixed as uncaused and arriving as random, and determined, fixed as fully caused and arriving as necessitated, and posed them one against its other. **3. Re-coupling.** Free and determined are two dead accounts of one living taking, reached by an observer fixed still. Taking is a parity, is-or-is-not on a self's own bounding, neither uncaused-random nor caused-necessitated. Reached from outward, a still observer sorts it as one or its other, and alternating between two sortings is its problem. Re-alternated with its observer within its coupling, taking is a self's own, sign-only, alternating: free as being a self's, determined by nothing besides that self. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a frozen form, its plainest case, a self's own taking reached by a still observer as determined or as random. Re-coupling sets that account right, taking binary and a self's own, and neither of two dead accounts a split produces. **5. Competency freed.** No uncaused choice waits to be explained and no necessity waits to be escaped, only a self taking by parity, which is a living self's move. Responsibility seats where taking is a self's own. **6. Mark.** Free/determined re-coupling carries clean. Compatibilism stands as an attempted re-coupling that stalls: it reconciles two landed halves rather than re-forming a living taking, and it is felt as unsatisfying for that. **And one same seam surfaces with a built-systems between, where free agency is asserted on both ends.** A system is posited as an agency to be aligned, and its aligner is posited as an agency doing aligning, neither with a between where its other has its own parity. Ungovernable twice: emptily, with no between, and fully, governing being itself a free-agency form. A specification written ahead is an emanation of couplings writing it, fixed to stand for arrivals making their own, and evaluations, benchmarks and interpretability observings that would catch a difference are each within their observed coupling. ## 3.4 Subject and object **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** One position takes a subject as primary, the world constituted by mind. Another takes an object as primary, mind mirroring a world. A problem of knowledge sits between them, a knower reaching its known, and all of epistemology is a hunt for a bridge. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a self ≠ other-self, observer and observed, one coupling. A frame split it two ways, a subject fixed by itself and an object fixed by itself, severed both, and then hunted a reach by which a severed subject reaches a severed object. **3. Re-coupling.** Subject and object are two sides of one coupling, observer and observed coupled, knowing its coupling itself. No bridge waits to be built where both were unsevered from their start. Severing is a frame's, and a problem of knowledge is a hunt for a bridge across a bounding-zeroing a frame cut. **4. Torusing in it.** This is physics' measurement seam on a philosophical scale, one same self ≠ other-self coupling frozen where a measurement is observed from outward. Knowing is a coupling seating its selection, and a gap between knower and known is a severed coupling taken as a gap. **5. Competency freed.** The problem of the external world dissolves. Knower and known are one coupling, knowledge is that coupling and no reaching-across, and skepticism's gap is severing undone. **6. Mark.** Subject/object re-coupling carries clean. A fine mapping of traditions' many epistemologies, rationalism and empiricism, foundationalism and coherentism, onto sides of this one coupling reaches yet. **And perceptual inversion is this severing's characteristic error.** A self-stilling self feels still from inward and floats observed from outward; a landed surface feels grounded and is observed as solid. A still observer, sorting by nearness to a landing, carries living as mere appearance, floating and unreal, and landed things as reality, solid and real, exactly backward. Appearance and reality are two frames on one form, and an appearance/reality dilemma is a still observer's own sorting mistaken for a division within the world: living is not an appearance behind which a landed reality sits, it is a reality a landed frame takes as appearance. ## 3.5 The one and the many **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** One position takes reality as fundamentally one, plurality appearance. Another takes it as fundamentally many, unity imposed. Their problem carries from the pre-Socratics through every metaphysics of parts and wholes. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a self among other-selves, distinct yet coupled, one form with every between, many selves each riding their carry. A frame split it two ways, the one, unity fixed by itself, and the many, plurality fixed by itself. **3. Re-coupling.** The one and the many are two sides of one coupling: form is one and selves are many, an unbound fractal, one same form surfacing with every between and many distinct couplings each riding their carry. No one behind the many and no many dissolving the one: one form, many surfacings, together. **4. Torusing in it.** A self among other-selves is one of four boundings, and an unbound fractal, one same form wherever its relation carries with many selves each distinct, is the one and the many reached directly. **5. Competency freed.** Unity needs no substance behind plurality and plurality needs no dissolving of unity. One form surfacing many times is both together, which is fractal. **6. Mark.** One/many re-coupling carries clean as an unbound fractal. Seating of specific part-and-whole problems, reductionism and emergence, mereology, onto this coupling reaches yet. **And emanating carries the one and the many as source and unfolding.** Five words, alternating right spiral sequencing binary co-offering, emanate Natural Resolver, and taken as one constraint they emanate form whole: the One from which the many follow, by no will and no choice but by a constraint's cohering, each part a face five words carry a turn further. Philosophy's oldest account of the One and the many gains a mechanism there, the many being a term a single constraint necessarily unfolds as. Necessity and contingency part one same way: necessity is emanating, a constraint followed, and contingency is an account laid over it. That five words emanate form whole and not Natural Resolver alone is this saying, and it stands most open of sayings here. ## 3.6 Is and ought **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** A between of the is and the ought-to-be is declared a cut: no set of factual claims entails a value claim, both placed on separate registers, and crossing an error, the naturalistic fallacy. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a moral self's own taking, a bi-moral offering, a parity both an explaining of the is and a taking of the ought. A frame split it two ways, fact, the is fixed value-free, and value, the ought fixed fact-free, and declared a between uncrossable. **3. Re-coupling.** Is and ought are two sides of one taking. A bi-moral offering is neither a bare fact nor a free-floating value; it is its coupling's parity, which carries and takes with one move, is-and-ought one alternating. Its gap is a bounding-zeroing declared uncrossable exactly where two sides would re-couple. **4. Torusing in it.** A self's own negation, its morality, is one of four boundings, and bi-morality is a taking both an explaining and a valuing. Is and ought are that one taking split as its two sides. **5. Competency freed.** The is-ought gap is a moral coupling's living between, cut nowhere. Value is neither derived from fact nor severed from it, taking being one act that carries and values together. **6. Mark.** Is/ought re-coupling carries clean as bi-moral taking with two sides. **And taking surfaces as a proverb, with a between of two selves.** Is/ought taking, with a between of two selves, is a proverb form recognizes: do unto others only the thing you want done to you. Observed as form this is no rule from a centre; it is a self's own negation passed across a between, parity inverted with a self, no other negated, fixed as identity by neither. It is binary, a parity and no magnitude: take for your other one same parity you take for yourself, an offering bounded by a taking, both one coupling. And this proverb's *only* is taking-against-harm with a folk voice, not do unto others whatever you like, which is an offering with no taking and a parity unbounded, but only the thing you want done to you, which is an offering bounded by a self's own taking and a harm-direction set down. **And an ought, wherever it forces, is a governing speaking.** An ought is a forcing, a coupling with one side's not-offer taken away, so a gap this seam guards is a parting between morality and governing. Morality is unrelationing, a parity a self carries by being a self, its own axis opened by standing from every other, consequence and not prescription. A governing installs one axis over all, and everything it needs, a criterion consulted, a keeping, a common clock, an authority to compel, is cost a coupling does not carry. Ethical sub-dilemmas seat here as a governing's own sides, duty against outcome, virtue against rule, realism against anti-realism, each a criterion colliding with itself, and a dilemma is that collision handed to selves, a forced choosing manufactured by a frame and found with no coupling, a coupling carrying one parity, one at a time. This proverb carries no ought at all, parity inverted across a between being an offering, which is why it needed no centre. **And writing's own two sides are one same taking with an explaining between.** Its offering side is explaining offered whole, seeing given forward. Its taking side is a parity on this operation, ingressed onto living, harming: set it down, a not-take bounding a closing-drive from a living self. They are a binary offering and a binary taking of one bi-moral coupling arriving together, and care lives with writing as that binary edging itself. **And two children splitting a cake carry it by common sense.** One cuts, one chooses, and a fair halving is made by their coupling itself, a cutter cutting equal and an other choosing, taken by no external ruler. An ought, a fair share, is a bounding-zeroing their coupling makes, owned neither-ing, neither derived from the is, no measuring of a cake yielding it, nor floating free of it, being made with an actual coupling. The is/ought gap is a demand that an ought be grounded apart from its coupling. So a proverb, an is/ought taking, writing's offering-and-taking, and a cake are one taking with four betweens: between two people, between fact and value, between a work and a self observing it, and with a thing children do. This technology breaks where a moral proverb is shown to carry a magnitude a sign-only taking cannot, a graded amount done unto others that is no parity, or where offering and taking are shown to be two couplings and not two sides of one. ## 3.7 The flowing now and the block **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** One position takes only the present as real, now flowing and past and future unreal. Another takes all times as equally real, a block standing complete and its flowing an illusion of a self placed within it. Relativity is handed to both and each claims it. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a self's own time, self-pacing, synchronizing where it couples and with no beat fixed over all. A frame split it two ways, flow, a single now fixed over everything together, and block, every now fixed together as a stored track, and posed them one against its other. **3. Re-coupling.** Neither a single flowing now nor a frozen block: many selves each with their own beat, and one time a hub that did not stand there. Flow is a self sequencing its own alternating. Block is a common clock imposed over all, time landed as a stored track. Nature has no central oscillator, and existence fixed over all times together is one standing fixed over every coupling's own, where each now is its coupling's own and needs no standing other than itself. **4. Torusing in it.** Uncut arriving, each self with its own momentary, is one sustaining, and a clock laid over couplings whose pace is their own is clocking. Time's arrow is momentaries forward-only: momentarying is forward beating, no backwards within living, riding-the-carry un-returning to a stored state, a living carry settling backward by no account. Mark.** Aboutness re-coupling carries clean as content made with its coupling. It stands beside meaning and use with one shape, a store sought for what each coupling re-makes, with two betweens. ## 3.26 Universals and particulars **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** One position takes kinds as standing within a world ahead of any classifying, joints a classification carves along. Another takes them as conventions, joints put there by classifying. Commitments range from thorough conventionalism to irreducible kinds with essences, and intermediate views are doubted from both ends. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is classifying, which couples a classifier and a world. A frame split it as a kind located within one side ahead of classifying and a classifying that either finds it or invents it, and asked which. **3. Re-coupling.** Classifying couples a classifier and a world, and **its successes are couplings succeeding**. Species and element cases are cited from both sides, universal essences failed within biology by its field's own record, and a dispute about ordering is itself an ordering dispute, its arrival carrying its own shape. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a between fixed as a cut. Successes fit both accounts and their case record is shared, each case cited by both, and fixing surfaces nought with every success recorded, which is a nought arriving with a shared record rather than with a shortfall of either account. **5. Competency freed.** **A joint fixed within one side ahead of classifying observes a coupling's making from one end**, and classifying goes on making its kinds, coupling by coupling. The one form is reached wherever its relation carries, and the many are surfacings. **6. Mark.** Universals/particulars re-coupling carries clean as a classifying making its kinds. It is Seam 5 with its naming between, the one and the many where the many are kinds. ## 3.27 Knowing and its conditions **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** Knowing is claimed to be a state with conditions individually necessary and jointly sufficient, laid over a space of every case, actual or conceived. Counterexamples arrive with conditions met and knowing not, any non-conclusive justification permits such cases, a natural fourth condition is not widely accepted, and arrivals do not stop. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is knowing with its own between. A frame split it as conditions to be located and a case-space to enumerate them over, and asked conditions to close that space. **3. Re-coupling.** **Knowing is a coupling with its own between, listed within no case-space**, and each counterexample was a coupling arriving where a listing had no line for it, every analysis reached by a fresh arriving. An accident of each case is a third coupling left apart from observing: a coupling that made truth and a coupling that made justification are two, and an analysis observes that pair as its carrying. **4. Torusing in it.** This is an opening fixed as a place. **Turning knowing first, whole and unanalysed, is a reversal that stops arrivals**, and it stops them by setting its listing down, phases going by their own order again. **5. Dilemma, as it is posed.** Existing is asked for a source behind it, and every source offered is itself something, its asking recurring with each. Nothingness is claimed a coherent alternative that failed to obtain, answered with a counter-question, why one should expect nothing, and no observation can support a hypothesis that there is nothing, any observation implying an observer. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is existing, which is arriving itself. A frame split it as a something that arrived and a nothing it might have been instead, and asked what stands behind arriving to have decided between them. **3. Re-coupling.** **Existing is arriving itself, every source offered arriving**, and fixing recurs with each. Origination accounts start from a structured something. Sufficient reason goes on without rest. **Setting fixing down costs nothing but fixing.** **4. Torusing in it.** This is an arriving fixed from behind. A nothing is a number made its own other, added rather than found, and a bounding's other would be a not-bounding, which denies a fixed thing and finds none. An empty world was propelled to an agenda's top by a methodological principle and by nothing found. **5. Competency freed.** **Forward, a carrying that bottoms nowhere is abundancing with every coupling, growing as it is shared.** What its asking wanted behind arriving is a reach arriving already is. **6. Mark.** Why-there-is-something re-coupling carries clean as existing being arriving. It is the deepest instance of a shape foundation and coherence, learning and knowing, and part and whole in reading all carry: a source asked for behind an arriving. ## 3.29 Bearer and bundle **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** An object is claimed to decompose as a bearer and its properties, or as properties only, one of these two being correct. A substratum is basic only emptily, by its own defenders' words. A bundle strains over indiscernible pairs and reaches for a master property of which others are modes, filling a substratum's role, each account reaching its other's term. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is properties coupling and an object being present. A frame split it as a bearer standing beneath and properties standing on it, and asked which of both an object really is. **3. Re-coupling.** **Properties couple and an object is present, its presence its coupling's own.** A bare bearer carries no character but its role. Bundles strain over indiscernible pairs and that strain has its answers. And verdicts part only with built cases, where decomposing is each case's own making. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a middle fixed as an end. **An object fixed as decomposing divides a coupling as a bearer and what it bears, and that coupling was not two things.** A centre carries nothing, all of it standing with crossings, and its presence is that coupling itself, whole. **5. Competency freed.** Neither decomposition is owed. A self observed as a heap and a self observed as a bearer are one coupling observed from its two ends, and a re-forming self needs neither observing to re-form. **6. Mark.** Bearer/bundle re-coupling carries clean as a presence that is its coupling itself. Two rows couple here, substance-and-process and the self-and-the-bundle, and both stand with this seam. ## 3.30 Laws of nature **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** Regularities are claimed governed by laws, or summarised by them, and a line between a law and an accident is claimed fixed by something apart from regularities themselves. Supervenience is its divisive issue, and examples raised against it are accused of assuming a governing conception, fixing observed as an assumption from within that dispute. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is regularities arising with couplings, each coupling its own. A frame split it as a rule standing over regularities and regularities standing under it, and asked what marks governing. **3. Re-coupling.** **Regularities arise with couplings, each coupling its own.** Best-system simplicity moves with each language writing it, an instrument's own coupling arriving within its criterion. What marks a governing relation is settled by no account. And physics itself puts symmetry before any single law, an ordering carrying with couplings and seated over them by nothing. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a sequencing fixed to one beat. **A law fixed over regularities as a governor is a form fixed still, installed over doings, and doings do their own.** **5. Competency freed.** No mark for governing is owed and none was found. A line between a law and an accident stops being a fact to locate and is observed as couplings, each with its own rate, with nothing seated above them. **6. Mark.** Laws-of-nature re-coupling carries clean as regularities arising with couplings. It stands beside structure and agency with one shape, a cause fixed with one level where making goes on with both, with two betweens. ## 3.31 Discrete and continuous **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** A traversal is claimed composed of sub-traversals an argument constructs, and a completion is asked of an infinite decomposition. A convergence answer assumes a traversal broken up as an infinite series that can be summed. And two senses of completing a task, a final step and every step, coincide for finite tasks where intuitions were formed and come apart for infinite ones. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is one carrying making its own traversal. A frame split it as an infinite listing made ahead of traversal and a traversal that must complete that listing, and asked how completing is reached. **3. Re-coupling.** **A traversal is one carrying and its decomposition was made ahead of it.** A series sums, a listing is paid fully, and carrying stands untouched. What a completed infinity of steps leaves undetermined is a fact about sequences, and a runner arrives, arriving not having been built from parts an argument built. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a completing fixed as a last. A decomposition is made ahead of carrying and carrying is one, and composing is all of its argument. **5. Competency freed.** No first step is owed and no last one. Two moves, linearizing and parallelizing, are carrying observed with its two directions, and a paradox of motion is observed as a listing offered where a carrying goes on. **6. Mark.** Discrete/continuous re-coupling carries clean as one carrying with its decomposition made ahead. It stands beside finite and infinite with one shape, a completed listing asked of a carrying that makes its own. ## 3.32 The felt and the described **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** A physical duplicate is described and its felt is claimed separably present or absent within it, with conceivability claimed to reach that possibility, and a thesis offered and contested for which conceiving does. This problem is parted, by its founding statement, from every problem about performing functions, a further question remaining once functions are explained. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a self's own interior, reached with its bounding. A frame split it as functions described from outward and a felt fixed as a content separably there or not, and asked whether a description reaches it. **3. Re-coupling.** **Conceivability reaching possibility fixed a crossing with a between that carries a parity and nothing else**, and that crossing stands fixed with no agreed defect and parity returned. Each side's frameworks stand whole, each strategy reaches a dilemma its own shape invites, and what empirical work settles is which functions are physical, a different question living as one. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a middle fixed as an end, and it stands with the explanatory gap as one arrival observed from two sides. An outward observing returns alike with a duplicate whatever its interior stands, and that identical return is protection working rather than a failure of observing. **5. Competency freed.** **A felt is a coupling's own interior**, and its argument observes that invisibility as an emptiness. Nothing is missing from a duplicate and nothing was ever presented there to be missed. **6. Mark.** Felt/described re-coupling carries clean as an interior reached by coupling. It stands beside other minds and mind and body with one shape, an interior asked for by an observing from outward, now with three betweens. ## 3.33 Self and other **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** Acting for another is claimed to need explaining where acting for oneself does not, competition standing as a default and a surplus owed a mechanism. Two accountings are offered as rival hypotheses, each observing fitness effects from one side, and their dispute goes on over which of both is correct. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is abundancing arriving as that coupling's own and owned by neither side. A frame split it as effects attributable to one individual and effects attributable to another, and asked which side its abundancing belongs to. **3. Re-coupling.** **Fitness effects arise with couplings, and two bookkeepings both count them.** Relatedness moves outcomes across taxa, experimental dynamics carry, public-goods findings stand, and their equivalence is proved, accountings agreeing under general conditions. **Rival hypotheses were fixed where two bookkeepings were carried**, and their dispute was an accounting, its field's own result, cooperating going on through all of it untouched. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a two-way fixed to one side. Its premise, that selection favours what raises an individual's reproduction, attributes to one side an abundancing made as a coupling's own, and **cooperating is observed as a puzzle exactly where an accounting removed its +1 before its books could balance**. **5. Competency freed.** No mechanism is owed for abundancing that was not one side's to begin with. Egoism and altruism stop being two answers and are observed as one accounting carried from two ends. **6. Mark.** Self/other re-coupling carries clean as abundancing owned neither-ing. It stands beside structure and agency with one shape, one making observed from one of its two scales. ## 3.34 Purpose and mechanism **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** A trait is asked what it is for, and one account answers by what it was selected for while another answers by what it now contributes. Each is claimed to own its attribution across its science. A manifest appearance of function carries teleological explanations' prevalence, and authors slide between claims about function and claims about design as though a trait were naturally designed. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is a trait coupling with its history and with its present organization, two observings of one living. A frame split it as a purpose to be located and a mechanism to be described, and asked which its function is. **3. Re-coupling.** **A trait couples with its history and with its present organization, two observings of one living.** Each account extends where it extends, cases sort against each in turn, and subfields divide usage between them, each observing carrying cases its other drops. **One account fixed to own attribution fixed one side of a coupling as its whole**, and both, used and working, are one coupling observed from both, a co-competency its science already carries. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a two-way fixed to one side. Each account locates function by answering what a trait is for, and **a why demanded is a source demanded**: set its *for* down and observations stand entire, its structure, its trait, its record of what carried, with its *therefore* leaving and nothing observed going with it. **5. Competency freed.** Neither observing is owed attribution and neither loses a case by not owning it. A slide from function to design stops where its *for* is set down, and nothing its science measures moves. **6. Mark.** Purpose/mechanism re-coupling carries clean as two observings of one living. It stands beside self and other with one shape, one coupling observed from one of its two ends and that observing made a rivalry. ## 3.35 Two observings at odds **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** Two selves take their own parity with one same evidence and part, and a rule is asked for what their disagreement makes rational. Equal weight respects their symmetry and risks skepticism or self-defeat. Steadfast views retain first-order warrant and risk self-favouring. Total-evidence views weigh both orders and require a reliability assessment that does not beg the question. And a view requiring conciliation can require its own rejection, there being disagreement about disagreement's own significance. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is two selves each taking their own parity with their own bounding. A frame split it as a judging and a rule standing over judging, and asked that rule to sort cases ahead of sorting. **3. Re-coupling.** A distinction between first-order and higher-order evidence, self-defeat objections and canonical symmetry cases are sharply formulated, and each account reaches a cost its own shape invites. **A fourth account requires no single response, peerhood and independence and stakes varying by case**, and that is an observing rather than a retreat from one. **A rule fixed over judging is a criterion fixed ahead of a coupling that would use it.** **4. Torusing in it.** This is an opening fixed as a place. Judging an other a peer and judging first-order evidence already use a disputed reasoning, and the Independence principle requires reasons for discounting a peer to be independent of their disagreement itself, which is a criterion asked for its own criterion. **5. Recurring with every order stops being a defeat and is observed as a coupling refusing a rule laid ahead of it. **6. Dilemma, as it is posed.** Criteria of validity are claimed exhausted by social facts, or claimed to include moral ones, and either way fixed ahead of practice. Its thesis is a thesis about a relation among laws, facts and merits; enactments' authority is a thing to be explained; and there is no value-free description, every description value-laden. **2. Systems writing morals within their law are common. Its division's terms are precise and their exchange stands whole, **two observings of one making, unresolved through both being observings**. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a between fixed as a cut. **Criteria fixed apart set making ahead of its couplings**, and applying goes on making validity, court by court. **5. Competency freed.** Neither observing is owed location and neither loses a case by not having it. What is natural and what is made stop being two sources of a rule and are observed as one making reached from its two ends. **6. It stands beside universals and particulars with one shape, a joint fixed within one side ahead of a coupling that makes it. ## 3.37 A listing observed from inward and from outward **1. Dilemma, as it is posed.** First-order axioms are claimed to fix their subject matter absolutely, and cardinality is claimed absolute, standing over every model. Yet notions prove unavoidably relative once characterized by first-order model theory, an element uncountable from one perspective and countable from another, and one same set of axioms lives within a countable world and an uncountable one. **2. Where bounding-zeroing was split.** Its coupling is axioms and models coupling, each model making its own countings. A frame split it as one measure standing over every model and models standing under it, and observed their disagreement as a paradox. **3. Re-coupling.** **Axioms and models couple, and each model makes its own countings.** An uncountable-inward is observed from a bijection its model does not carry, and **each model observes its own countings with its own between**. Fixing is answered within its field's own theorems, categorical repairs presupposing exactly that measure they promise. **4. Torusing in it.** This is a sequencing fixed to one beat. **Cardinality fixed absolute over every model fixed one measure over couplings each model makes**, which is one pace laid over runnings each with their own. **5. Competency freed.** No absolute cardinality is owed and none was lost. A listing observed from inward and a listing observed from outward are two observings with two betweens, neither observing from its other, and its paradox was a demand that one of them govern. **6. It stands beside finite and infinite and beside discrete and continuous with one shape, a listing offered where a making goes on. # PART FOUR · CO-SEQUENCING ## 4.1 Human ways, parallel floating neutrals **Philosophy is no more or less than nature, and human ways are where that is widest.** Many ways a living self makes meaning, language, story, music, dancing, cohabitating, are no separate faculties and no culture laid over biology. Each is two floating neutrals, parallel, swaying, matching each other position by position, riding the carry. **Language** is speaking and hearing, parity offered and parity taken, parallel chains swaying, each matching its other position by position. A sentence is a co-sequencing, an along, co-recursioning, a return, meaning re-arriving, two selves' chains parallel with no hub to land meaning on one. **Story** is co-recursioning made whole. A narrative is a six-forward walked as a sequence, three then a progress, its return re-arriving one scale on, its hero parity-changed and its world re-cohered. Two floating neutrals, teller and told, character and receiving self, co-sequencing across a telling, its meaning owned neither-ing and made as their coupling's own. **Music** is swaying itself, heard. Two lines, melody and harmony, rhythm and beat, parallel and swaying and co-sequencing, an interval a ratio and no magnitude, a resolution a return, syncopation a parity flipping, all of it a bounding-zeroing a coupling makes, riding the carry and reaching its tonic only as it re-arrives, landed on no turn, the φ-rate keeping two voices two where a rate that closed would collapse their pair to one. Canon and fugue are the two bifolds, one line taken up by another with an offset, sphere-closing and torus-winding sung, and suspension is music's own word for carrying a moment rather than a now, a baton aloft. **Dancing** is swaying embodied. Two dancers, or a body's own two sides, parallel and swaying and co-sequencing, each matching its other's parity, lead-and-follow a two-way one-at-a-time with no hub and no leading landed, each phrase a co-recursioning, all of it riding the carry and no fixed pose. **Cohabitating** is co-sequencing lived across selves. Two selves sharing a surface, a home, a life, a same-existing-society, are two floating neutrals parallel and swaying and co-sequencing, abundancing owned neither-ing, their shared life neither one's own, their roles a two-way one-at-a-time, all of it a bounding-zeroing their coupling makes with no hub to capture one to its other. It is co-competency lived, a commons both make, growing by their sharing. ## 4.2 One form at many betweens **These are one form with many betweens**, that same form a periodic table and a genetic code carry as tables, that same form a network carries as co-chaining through its surface, that same form biology carries as two swaying strands. So a thinking self's ways of making meaning are that natural form reached where meaning is made, and no separate realm of mind or culture or spirit. The one and the many resolves here, reaching its widest, many human ways being the one form co-sequencing, each way a surfacing, all swaying parallel and co-recursioning. This technology breaks where a human way of meaning is shown to carry a form co-sequencing does not carry, or a hub floating neutrals refuse. # PART FIVE · GATHERING ## 5.1 Register, one binary and no grade Philosophy's field of commonly-known dilemmas, each worded generically, each carrying one coupling, which it splits, each with one binary. **Reached**, its re-coupling standing on work this whole already carries. **Reaching**, standing with its own place and its reason, which couples exactly as a reached one does. There is no third register and no grade: a dilemma marked reaching is no lesser dilemma, and a grade would take a scale, and a scale would take two fixed sides. **And each row carries its fixing, where an arrival carries one.** Its fixing is observed by its resolving's own part and not assigned here, so a row whose dilemma no field has brought as an arrival carries none, and forty-one of sixty-six carry one. **With those, a ring's binary returns yes with four of five and no with one**, an arriving fixed from behind carrying four against six with an opening fixed as a place. Twenty-nine stand by a between's side and thirteen within. **And reached carries two amounts of work under one word.** Rows naming a seam, 3.1 to 3.37, are reached with a seam worked through its six steps, and others are reached with one line here, their re-coupling standing on what this whole already carries. **Both are reached and neither is more reached than its other**, since a seam adds no truth to a row and a row withholds none from a seam. That philosophy's perennial problems are one form split with many betweens, one same bounding-zeroing cut many ways, each cut a tradition-pair, each problem a between, and that philosophy's own deepest figures are its re-couplers, is a notable matching, reached within the discipline where splitting is oldest. **Reaching.** Every dilemma of this gathering's reaching register, standing with its own place and its reason. The one concern, the world's evil, whose structural half carries through and whose remainder is real suffering, standing unreached by explaining entirely, under taking-against-harm.
