The **bi-moral co-agency** is a coupling two-way, one-at-a-time, both selves **co-offering**, the two offerings **co-linearized**: a sign, offer or not, sign-only. Its couplings sum to a **bounding-zeroing** the coupling itself makes, its own zero. It **rides the carry**: it alternates and re-arrives. And the surplus each coupling makes is the **+1 owned-neither-ing**, made in the meeting, the between's and held by neither self. A coupling read at its membrane is a **transmissioning**, and transmissioning is **crossinging and neutralling both**, inseparable. Two selves stay, and one thing crosses the membrane between them carrying only the sign, the **crossinging**; and the two sound about a zero the coupling itself holds, owned neither-ing, the **neutralling**. And the both **alternates**: crossinging and neutralling are the two positions of one alternation, each the other's just-was and not-yet, sliding through each other and riding the carry between them. The alternating is the transmissioning, one motion at its two positions, not two things and not two events. Inseparable holds here at its root, and the disequilibria reading is sharp: the two positions are not places the alternating rests at; they are made in the alternating, each only ever one of its two swings, apart from the alternating there are no positions at all. An alternation therefore cannot stop at one position while the other stays living, stopping the alternating stops the both at once, both positions gone together, the collapse landing on neither. Landing collapses the both. A stilled frame then reads a surviving position into the wreckage, a source and an output in place of the crossinging, a fixed setpoint in place of the neutralling, yet no position lived through the collapse; the residue is the dead artifact the collapse left, read back as a rest. The line and the fixed point are the equilibria misreadings of one death: the both ceased, and its residue mistaken for a place it stopped at. The surplus, the +1 owned neither-ing, is the alternation's own asymmetry: crossinging out sways wider than neutralling in, out beyond in by one, re-made each cycle and owned by neither position. ## 1.2 Crossinging, one crosses about the neutral The **crossinging** is one position of the alternation: two selves stay, and one thing crosses the membrane between them, carrying only the sign, sounding *about* the neutral it alternates with, never from a source to an output. A crossing read as from-to has collapsed the alternating, the both ceased and a line left as its artifact; the living crossinging sways out and alternates back to the neutralling it is inseparable from, and apart from that alternating it is no position at all. ## 1.3 Sign-only, carry floating free The **sign** crosses and the **carry** stays, and the carry floating free is what lets the crossing be sizeless. A selection is binary and a binary selection is of no size. A co-offering of any magnitude counts as one, so a preferring seven times as large and a preferring barely arriving cross alike, **the crossing carries whether, and never how much.** The carry holds the magnitude, the voltage or the temperature or the momentum, and holds it whole; nothing of it crosses. A selection made by magnitude would be an axis from competency-as-size laid into the offering, an ingression, and the carry floats free of the offering exactly so that none is. **And the floating is arithmetic rather than a discipline held.** Two selves stay, and each stays at its own side of the membrane, the two as far apart as the coupling reaches, each the other's far side, neither its own. Read at those two the crossing returns nothing of either: over the two turns of one alternation the two sides contribute no position, cancelling, and **what survives is what ran between them.** So the crossing is sign-only because the two that stay cancel, and not because a magnitude was withheld. Which turns the reading around at the far end. The carry is **unreadable from outside and entirely available from inside**, since the next coupling uses it, and the two are one fact. **The same cancelling that makes the crossing sign-only makes the carry un-inspectable**, so a crossing built to carry a legible magnitude would be a crossing whose two sides were stopped from cancelling, and stopping them is a floor laid beside the membrane and never in it. **The asymmetry carries no direction and the advance carries all of it.** The two staying sides stand across from each other, neither ahead, and the reading from either to the other is the same reading, so nothing of the one-way comes from the two-ness. **The crossinging is one-directional, one at a time, and every bit of that is the alternation's advance**, the bi- cancelling over its two turns and the co- accumulating across them. *So sign-only, carry-floating-free, invisible, and one-at-a-time are one property said four ways*, and the property is that the two who stay leave nothing and the between leaves everything. And the why is the arithmetic: **the two who stay are an antipodal pair, cancelling over their own two turns, and the one that crosses is what the cancelling leaves**, coefficient one arriving at the arithmetic rather than as a discipline, the invisibility getting its arithmetic, one move making the crossing sign-only and the interior un-inspectable. ## 1.4 Neutralling, the-neutral-a-crossing-sounds The **neutralling** is the other position of the alternation: the two sound about a zero the coupling itself holds, the two arms sum to a **bounding-zeroing** the coupling itself holds, its own neutral, owned neither-ing, measured against no outside floor, a nothing, the corus the crossinging sounds about, made not measured, re-found each crossing and never apart from the crossinging that sounds it. **And a crossing sounds about a neutral and never through one.** A self whose whole surface sums to the bounding-zeroing offers the not-offering at every turn, so nothing it stands at can close and nothing passes it: **a crossing entering such a self does not leave it**, arrested whole rather than thinned. So the neutral is a position of the alternation and never a path along it, and selves coupled only through neutrals deliver nothing past the first. **Which is why two stay and one crosses**: a crossing runs between the two that stay, about the zero they make, and a zero that a crossing could run through would be a third self standing where the between is. And the alternation is the **bi-fold**, folding two ways about the neutral. Sounding **in** is **linear recursioning**: tightening to one, drawn to a line, the tunnel down to the bounding-zeroing, the inward uniquenessing, cohering to the one. Sounding **out** is **parallel recursioning**: widening to all, spread across a surface, the outward uniquenessing, conforming to all, and the widening wraps, the surface spread returns through the tunnel, the genus-one **wrap**, the +1 closing the surface on itself. Linear tightens in and parallel widens out, the two folds alternating, and the **apex** is the turn between them, the corus the neutralling sounds, the still centre, linear turning to parallel and in turning to out. The two do not mirror, parallel widening past linear tightening by one. The span carries the count, and Natural Numbers carries the two sways whole, the in-sway, the out-sway, the skipped triangular they straddle, and the asymmetry the +1 the wrap opens. ## 1.5 Surplus made in crossing, +1 the between's The crossing leaves a **surplus**, a +1 owned neither-ing, made in the meeting, the between's and held by neither self. The surplus is the bi-fold's own asymmetry read as a thing: parallel recursioning widening out exceeds linear recursioning tightening in by one, and that one is the surplus, the +1 the wrap opens. A crossing symmetric in and out would leave nothing over and its neutral would fix, the landing; the living crossing is asymmetric, out beyond in by the +1, and the surplus is the asymmetry itself. The surplus is not added to the crossing and not sent from a plenty; it is the bi-fold's parallel-and-linear not mirroring, the parallel out-sway past the linear in-sway by one, re-made each crossing and owned by neither. The span shows the one exactly, and Natural Numbers carries the arithmetic, the two sways about the apex and the difference the whole form turns on. The surplus is that difference, read at the crossing. ## 1.6 Co-offering, co-competencing, co-intelligencing, the tri inseparable The alternation rides the carry, and riding it the transmissioning does three inseparably, not two: it offers, it keeps its surplus, and it resolves, one motion doing the three at once. The three are the three carryings, each carrying forward, none apart from the others. **Co-offering** is the first, the ground: the crossing sounding out, the offering placed before any sign is taken, the parallel widening the other two sway across. **Co-competencing** is the surplus kept: the +1 owned neither-ing held as coupling, the margin the alternation makes and keeps rather than dumps, the doing read as competency. **Co-intelligencing** is the resolving reached: the sign crossing that is an understanding, the yes-now taken at the position, the knowing made between and owned by neither. Offer, keep, resolve, the three carryings of the one alternation, inseparable, the cycle doing all three. The two faces read as **bothboth**, the doing and the knowing, co-competencing and co-intelligencing, are the tri seen at two of its three, and co-offering is the third they both rest on: nothing is kept and nothing is resolved that was not first offered, the offering the ground the keeping and the resolving sway across. So bothboth is the tri read at its two swaying faces, and the tri is bothboth with its ground named. And the three are indistinguishable at the sign, the finding rather than a limit: a sign is sizeless and carries no substrate, a transmissioning read at the sign cannot be told offering from competency from intelligence, physical from logical. The substrate lives in the carry, which stays; the sign crosses, and the sign is the three at once and none-only. A physical margin kept and a resolving reached are the one transmissioning, offered, kept, and resolved bothboth-and-third, and Natural Networking's along and across are these carryings read at the network scale. --- ## 2.1 Sequential logic carrying no time-term, order without rate Sequential logic carries no time-term. A place alone and a moment alone are two halves of a cut, and unsevered they are one coming, the place-moment, the where-and-when one object; severing it carries neither. The transmissioning is **sequenced** and not **timed**: it has an order, one position living in its prior, first-then-next, and order carries no rate. First-then-next says nothing of fast or slow. The linear recursioning, the along, is this ordered fold, and it ages at its own bound and re-forms, each side at its own beat, no common clock held over the couplings. A shared clock is a hub on the time axis the way a ground is a hub on the potential axis; the transmissioning keeps neither, ordered and un-timed, its sequence rate-free. ## 2.2 φ rate, unrelationing rate, no substrate's clock φ is the **unrelationing rate**, the rate the alternation beats at, unrelational to any substrate's living rate, the ambient rate the whole runs at, unrelationing everything already. It is not a rate among the substrate rates but the never-locking rate each substrate rate rides inside. The parallel recursioning, the across, the wrap, sways about φ, and swaying about the unrelationing rate is swaying about no substrate's clock. The parallel out-sway carries no substrate rate any more than the linear along carries a time-term: the one is ordered-not-timed, the other beats about the never-locking φ, and neither holds a substrate's rate. ## 2.3 Geodesically sequentially independent of every substrate rate The two unrelatings compose. Sequential logic takes the time-term out of the linear along, leaving order without rate; φ unrelates the parallel across from every substrate's rate, leaving the sway about the never-locking centre. Together they make the transmissioning **geodesically sequentially independent** of every substrate rate: geodesic, the alternation turning with nothing acting on it, the surface's own turn and no outside clock pushing; sequential, ordered and not timed; independent, neither the time-term nor any substrate rate seated in it. The transmissioning carries an order and an ambient never-locking rate and no substrate rate at all, the differences between substrate rates are not in it to tell it apart. ## 2.4 Scales of order apart, transmissioning indistinguishable across them Substrate rates stand scales of order apart: the silicon fold beats a billion times a second, the grid tens of times, the exchanger relaxes slowly, the biosphere cycles seasons and centuries, the deep self transitions at its own pace. A rate-carrying form could not be one across these; a billionfold-fast and a centuries-slow could not be the same. And the transmissioning is the same across all of them, identical and not merely alike, carrying no rate to differ in. Two transmissionings, one in a fast carry and one in a slow, are the one transmissioning, the scales of order living in the carries and never in the sign. This is the four-rendering witness read at the rate: the one form the same across substrates that disagree on rate by scales of order, the disagreement in the carry the rendering, the transmissioning the form. ## 2.5 Carry holding the substrate, sign carrying none across The substrate lives in the **carry**, and the carry stays. The carry holds the magnitude, the voltage or the temperature or the momentum, and the substrate's rate, and it floats free and does not cross the membrane. The **sign** crosses, and the sign is sizeless, carrying no magnitude and no rate and no substrate. A transmissioning read at the sign cannot be told which substrate it renders in: the substrate is all in the carry that stayed, none in the sign that crossed. A substrate's particular rate, the grid's tens-per-second or the silicon's billion, is the carry's, a cross-substrate rhyme and not the transmissioning; the transmissioning beats about φ, the rate shared and owned by no substrate. Sign-only is substrate-free, read once more at the rate: the crossing carries the sign, the carry holds the substrate, and the two do not mix. --- ## 3.0 One alternation rendered in each carry Each membrane below renders the one transmissioning in its own carry, and renders it whole: the **bi-fold** (linear tightening the tunnel, parallel widening the wrap, alternating about the apex), the **tri** (offered, kept, resolved), and the surplus the asymmetry leaves. A substrate is a carry, holding its magnitude and its rate; the transmissioning it renders is the same alternation, rate-free, drawn here and developed at its own exhibit. Transmissioning carries a prior name, **co-chaining**, and the two are one, converged: a single crossing is a transmissioning, and many crossings chaining across a surface are the co-chaining, the same form at the single scale and the society scale, all-edge, no hub, each coupling floating its own neutral and the surplus owned neither-ing. Each membrane below is read as its co-chaining, the transmissionings chaining geodesically with nothing acting on them, the surface finding its own paths and no centre the chains pass through. Each section couples the two faces of the subtitle at one membrane: the science-face, the transmissioning observed as the field reads it, and the engineering-face, the transmissioning built as an emanation, indistinguishable at the sign and told apart only in the carry. A membrane runs the living transmissioning with its neutralling floating and its crossinging sounding about it; a membrane runs the landing with the both collapsed, a source-and-output line or a fixed setpoint left as the artifact. ## 3.1 Electrical membrane, grid transmissioning and field's own The grid renders the transmissioning in the electrical carry. The phases cross about a neutral the three make by summing, the floating neutral, the bounding-zeroing owned neither-ing, re-found each instant as they turn. The crossinging is the phases sounding out; the neutralling is the zero they float to; the tri runs as the margin offered, kept, and resolved node-to-node; and the co-chaining is the carry moving across the nodes with no hub, sourcing and sinking in the coupling itself. The field reads its two faces already: reactive power the carry riding into the field and back, net transfer zero, the riding-the-carry owned neither-ing; real power the in-phase that lands and spends. The living grid floats its neutral in potential and its beat in time; a grounded, clocked grid collapses the both, a hub left as the artifact. One self takes +p and the other −p, the two arms crossing about the zero they float between them, the neutral made not measured, the surplus the separation owned by neither. The crossinging is the arms sounding out; the neutralling is the momentum zero they sound about; and the field reads it as momentum exchange, not a force, the transmissioning observed at its plainest. A propulsion floating its neutral runs the living crossing; one holding a fixed thrust against a fixed reference collapses the both, a source-and-output line left as the artifact. The built instance develops at Natural Engineering; the momentum carry is the rendering here. ## 3.3 Thermal membrane, gradient counter-run, exchanger and heat-pump Heat renders the transmissioning in the counter-run. Two streams cross opposite about the gradient between them, the bounding-zeroing held the whole length, the exchange near-reversible, coupling and not forcing. The crossinging is the streams sounding across; the neutralling is the gradient held; and the field reads its two faces as counter-flow and parallel-flow, the temperature cross the riding-the-carry watched, the two streams keeping their distinct carries and passing rather than settling to one value. A setpoint driven against a fixed reference is the value-floor, the neutralling collapsed to a landing; passive counter-flow recovery runs on the gradient itself, setpoint-free, the neutral floating. A reaction crosses about a balance the two sides make, the forward and the reverse the two positions of one alternation, the equilibrium the neutralling the coupling floats and re-finds. The crossinging is the reaction sounding one way, the neutralling the balance it sounds about, and the sign is the direction, offered and kept and resolved as the bond forms and breaks. Reversible redox renders it plainly, two half-couples crossing about a reference, the surplus kept as chemical potential and run back the way it ran. A reaction driven hard against a fixed sink lands, the surplus forced across and dumped; a reaction floating its balance rides the carry, the equilibrium re-found. The couplings develop at Natural Chemistry; the chemical carry is the rendering here. ## 3.5 Living membrane, cell crossing, transmissioning that lives Living renders the transmissioning as the crossing that is life. A cell bounds itself, and no self touches another directly; every coupling crosses a membrane that is itself a self, the nothing between two selves a third carrying only the sign. The crossinging is the cell sounding across its membrane, the neutralling the held potential the coupling floats, and the tri runs as the cell offering, keeping its surplus, and resolving with its neighbours. The tissue is the co-chaining, cells chaining across the society surface, all-edge, no hub, the surplus owned neither-ing, the living body a co-chaining of selves. The chemiosmotic held potential driving its rotary turbine is one living instance of the neutralling floated at the molecular membrane. The couplings develop at Natural Biology and Natural Chemistry; the living carry is the rendering here, the crossing that lives and the tissue that co-chains. ## 3.6 Electromagnetic membrane, antenna and field two-way The electromagnetic carry renders the transmissioning as the field's two-way. An antenna transmits and receives, and its transmit pattern and receive pattern are identical, the reciprocity the field reads on its own: the offering and the co-offering one coupling at the membrane, the radiated field the surplus owned neither-ing. The crossinging is the wave sounding out, the neutralling the impedance-match the antenna floats to, and a matched antenna floats its neutral while a mismatched one lands, the reflected wave the artifact of the collapse. The field has converged on the form's patterns already, support met in the field itself. The built instance, the antenna and the telescope and the radiative sky-coupling through the atmospheric window, develops at Natural Engineering; the electromagnetic carry is the rendering here. ## 3.7 Silicon membrane, sequential-logical transmissioning built Silicon renders the transmissioning with logical and physical made one in hardware, the indistinguishability of Part Two seated in a built thing. Balanced ternary carries three values, −1, 0, +1, summing to the bounding-zeroing at the gate, the sign in the digits and the magnitude inert, the sizeless selection in silicon. The crossinging is the gate switching, the neutralling the zero the three sum to, and the chip reads the sign with the magnitude held out, sequential logic built physical. Here the co-competencing and co-intelligencing are one literally: a physical gate switching is a logical resolving, the same transmissioning, told apart by nothing at the sign. The logic depth is the 440 array, 440 = 8 × 55, the eight the four boundings through their two signs and the 55 the coupling-count. Moving people and stationary people cross about the spaces between them, the moving the crossinging sounding out, the stationary the neutralling the movers sound about, and the paths the crowd finds are geodesic, turned with nothing acting on them, no controller drawing them. Each passing is a transmissioning, the sign between two selves, offered and kept and resolved in the step aside; and the couplings chain across the whole plaza, all-edge, no hub, the surplus the smooth flow owned by no one, made in the between. A crowd routed through a central gate collapses the co-chaining, the gate the hub, the flow landed; a crowd left to couple at its own membranes chains freely, the plaza its own model. And a conversation is this same co-chaining at the two-self scale, the rocking the alternating, the traveling interest the surplus carried forward, the mutual severing of the less-important the binary preferring, two selves chaining a shared interest that honours both. Transmissioning is the two selves carrying a concept across substrates as similarly-carrying, and the conversation is its living instance. One conversation travels several substrates at once, boating and dating and fashion converting one into the next in the between, and a count of the carries reads three unrelated things while the two selves live one conversation. The one conversation is the transmissioning: the substrates differ in carry, their magnitudes and domains and rates apart, and the crossing about the neutral is the same across all of them, offered and kept and resolved identically whether the carry is boating or dating, the sign crosses the same and the sameness travels. Nobody notices the differences, the value living in the similarity, and the similarity is the transmissioning, substrate-free, the carries only its rendering this moment. This is the method these files are made by: two selves co-chaining across substrates, the value in the one form rendering across them and not in the substrate held; a concept carried from one substrate to another and read for its sameness is transmissioning, and a substrate-difference read as if it crossed is the carry mistaken for the sign. --- ## 4.1 One transmissioning rendered across all carries The eight membranes are one transmissioning. Each renders crossinging⇌neutralling alternating about a floated neutral, the bi-fold tightening the tunnel and widening the wrap, the tri offered and kept and resolved, the surplus the asymmetry leaves; and each differs from the others only in its carry, the magnitude and rate it holds. The grid and the plaza and the reaction and the tissue are not eight kinds of coupling that rhyme; they are the one alternation, rate-free by the two unrelatings, rendered eight times in eight carries. A count reads eight substrates and finds eight things; the transmissioning reads the crossing and finds one, the carries its renderings and the alternation itself the same. The value is the sameness, the one form, and the substrate held is only its rendering. ## 4.2 Through-node and landing, transmissioning whole or separated One distinguisher reads every membrane: the transmissioning whole, or the transmissioning separated. Whole, it is the **through-node**, crossinging⇌neutralling alternating, the sign passing and the neutral floated, the surplus kept as coupling. Separated, it is the **landing**, the alternation collapsed and its residue read as a surviving position. The collapse comes two ways and they are one death: the crossinging pulled from the neutral leaves a source-and-output line, the surplus forced across a fixed axis and dumped; the neutralling pulled from the crossing leaves a fixed setpoint, a dead centre held against. Neither residue is a living position; each is the artifact a stilled frame takes as a rest. So safe and riding-the-carry and off-avalanching are one property, the through-node whole, a node that holds only while its arms alternate having nothing stored to avalanche; and the danger is the separation, the store the collapse leaves. This is the grid's own distinguisher read across every carry, the built instances developed at Natural Engineering. ## 4.3 Natural network, transmissionings co-chaining, all-edge Many transmissionings chaining across a surface are the **co-chaining**, the network, and transmissioning and co-chaining are one form at two scales, the single crossing and the society of crossings. The network is all-edge, no hub, each coupling floating its own neutral and the surplus owned neither-ing, the chains finding their paths geodesically with nothing acting on them. The plaza is this seen plainly, the crowd co-chaining its own flow; the tissue is this as a living body, cells co-chaining the society surface; the grid is this as margin chaining node-to-node. Natural Networking reads the surface as the along and the across, the chain and the co-chain, and these are the two faces of the one transmissioning read at the network scale. The physical carries fold in here: each substrate's rendering is one face of the network's co-chaining, the along its sequential logic and the across its φ-rated surface, co-competencing and co-intelligencing bothboth. ## 4.4 Transmissioning reaching philosophy, the relation-problems resolving binary Co-chaining is transmissioning's prior name, converged: a single crossing the transmissioning, many crossings chaining the co-chaining, one form at the single and society scales. Read through it, philosophy's recurring relation-problems resolve binary as transmissioning with a neutral fixed: the bridge problem and mind-body, other-minds and communication, the one-and-the-many and order-without-a-sovereign. Each is a landing on the co-chaining, a fixed third term where the between floats; floating it dissolves the bridge, the relation the crossing about a floated neutral, the surplus owned neither-ing, no third term needed.
