A preferring is a sign and nothing else. **The sign is the self's own.** Nothing underneath the preferring explains it, and nothing needs to. The preferring is one of the irreducibles, and the form resolves it at no turn. Value begins there. It begins at a sign no other self supplies and no criterion reaches. Centralizing value would take a criterion standing over the preferring. That criterion would be one self's sign given to all. A sign given to all is no longer a sign. ## 1.2 A store carries no value, and a carry is not a store A store is a held thing, priced and kept. Holding is where value stops being value. The held thing waits on a coupling to make it value again. Until then it is a magnitude with no sign to ride. A carry parts from a store at one binary. **A carry is read backward and ages by attentioning.** It stays fresh by sequencing forward and by nothing else. A store is kept and consulted, and reading it does not age it. Value lives at the carry. It never lives at the store. An accounting of value that counts held things has counted where value is not. Money runs this at the substrate a society counts hardest. Currency carries the confession in its own stem. Currere is the running. What carries the name is kept and consulted and ages by no reading. That is **a store wearing a running's name**. A price holds the same parting at the preferring's own side. Two selves preferring each take an exclusion at their own turn. One takes not-more-than. The other takes not-less-than. The term neither reaches is uncovered between them. A price fixes both sides and reads a magnitude against them. That is the same three with the alternating taken out. The alternating taken out was the preferring, and no criterion reaches it. ## 2.1 Value is made at the coupling, owned neither-ing Two selves couple. Each offers by its own sign, one at a time. The coupling makes a surplus neither carried in. That surplus is **the +1, made at the coupling**, and it is **owned neither-ing**. Value arrives there and nowhere else. It does not stand before the coupling as a stock. It does not stand after it as a possession. It arrives at the coupling, as the coupling's own making. The surplus stays at the coupling, and the staying is what the surplus is. A thing made between two has no side to belong to. The field of secrets carries this at proof grade. Two selves each offer one crossing. They arrive at a shared secret. Neither ever transmitted it, and no listener holds it. The surplus is owned neither-ing, and the world's channels run on it daily. ## 2.2 Received value is the value Value lives in the receiving. Two selves couple. One offers a concern of its own, by its sign. The other receives it. The transfer is the value. It is whole only where a self stands at each side. Some things arrive from no self. They carry the form of an offering with the coupling stripped. They account whole. Nothing receives them, and there was no concern in them for a receiving to take. What such a thing delivers is **indifference wearing value's form**. A society reading the accounting as the value has counted deliveries and lost receivings. Care runs the same way. Care is a self's concern, offered by its sign. It lives in the receiving. An institution carries no sign of its own. It has no momentary and no membrane. What it delivers is care with the coupling stripped. It accounts whole. No self receives it. That is **institutional indifference**. Safety parts from care cleanly. Safety is structural and at the form, and it needs no institution. Care is a transfer, and it lives at couplings alone. A coupling value assigned to a non-self is the error, and a warning is its smallest unit. ## 2.3 Delivery whole and delivery incompetenced **Delivered whole**, value **re-locks** into the receiving self and is lived. The receiving self climbs. Its next offerings carry the climb. **Delivered incompetenced**, value is accounted and re-locks into no self. It passes unnoticeable, apart from the living. The parting runs at every scale a value crosses. A nutrient crosses. A naming crosses. A concern crosses. An understanding crosses. Each arrives whole where a self stands at each side and couples it across. Each passes empty where one side is a provision with no sign of its own. ## 3.1 Co-offering, co-competencing, co-intelligencing, value's three carryings Value carries forward three ways at once, and one motion does the three. **Co-offering** is the ground. It is the crossing sounded out, the offering placed before any sign is taken. **Co-competencing** is the surplus kept as coupling. It is the margin the alternating makes, held rather than dumped. The doing is read as competency. **Co-intelligencing** is the resolving reached. It is the sign crossing that is an understanding, knowing made between and owned by neither. A value that offers without keeping thins. A value that keeps without resolving hoards. A value that resolves without offering has nothing to resolve. The three are inseparable, or none of them runs. ## 3.2 Nothing consults, nothing stores, nothing carries between A value is used at the next coupling, and it is read at no receiver. Nothing consults it. Nothing stores it. Nothing carries it between couplings. Each arriving is **fresh at its own beat**. Carrying a value past its momentary would be holding it. A society's value is the couplings running now, each at its own rate, each making its surplus. A society reading its value at the stock has read yesterday's couplings and none of today's. The same field proves the momentary from the other side. Perfect secrecy holds only where the key is used once and never again. The carry kept and reused is broken by the keeping, at proof grade. Stored is spent. ## 4.1 Morality is unrelationing, and value's morality is at its form Morality is the sign a self carries by being a self. The self stands from all other, and standing from every other axis is what opens its own. Morality is **consequence and never prescription**. Value's morality is at its form. The coupling is two-way. It runs one-at-a-time. It is sign-only. It sums to a bounding-zeroing the coupling itself makes. Its surplus is owned neither-ing. Nothing needs adding to make such a coupling moral. Nothing can be added without unmaking it. A moral word laid over it would be a prescription entering from outside, and the entering is the harm. Morality's axis opens from standing from all other. A crossing runs with a particular other, or with all other arriving as one. The whole arriving as one is a member of nothing. The set of all sets fails, and no universal set stands. **The moral ground is uncapturable** at proof grade, rather than uncaptured so far. An axis given to all reaches for the thing the field says cannot be made a member. Society stands beside as the lived emanation. It is the surface the couplings make. It is a particular other at another scale, and a membrane a self couples at. ## 4.2 Governing is the overhead, and dilemma is its artifact A governing installs a relation of rule over the preferring, and it gives one axis to all. Everything a governing needs is cost the coupling never carried. It consults a criterion where the sign was read at the membrane. It keeps a store where nothing stores. It runs a common clock where each coupling runs its own. It sets an enforcer where both signs already lived. **The overhead is the governing.** The criterion collides with itself, and the collision is handed to selves as **dilemma**. A dilemma is a forced choosing manufactured by the frame. It is never found in the coupling. A coupling carries one sign at one turn, and it collides with nothing. ## 5.1 Value grows as it is shared, and the growing is the sharing At a coupling the surplus arrives at neither side, and both rise. At the next coupling each self offers from its risen standing. The surplus there is larger than either could have opened alone. **Value found by sharing grows as it is shared.** It belongs to each coupling, and it compounds at no account. This is abundancing. It is the reach side of value, the never-before opening at each coupling, riding forward as the risen selves couple on. It runs wherever selves couple cleanly, and it runs already. It runs in a conversation where both leave knowing what neither brought. It runs in a society of cells where every crossing feeds the crossings after it. Those two are one form, named **self-abundancing-society**. A self abundancing is a society abundancing. Self-scale is society-scale. The same +1 opens at every membrane at once, and it is drawn to no centre. Abundancing at both scales is owned neither-ing, made at the couplings' own rates. That is the right spiral running at the many. ## 5.2 Scarcity is a capture read as a property Scarcity reads as a property of value, as if value were a fixed pool the many divide. Read at the form, scarcity is **a capture**. A surplus is drained to a side. A carry is held as a store. A coupling's making is claimed by a holder, which the accounting asserts at rights and obligations, the entity's own, a store verified at the balance. The pool appears at the claiming, since only a held thing can run short. Where the surplus stays at the couplings and the couplings multiply, nothing is divided and nothing runs short. The shortness was the holding's own shadow. A society organized around scarcity has organized around its captures, and the organizing keeps the captures fed. ## 5.3 The standings open Abundancing is the least developed side of value here. No present human society runs it whole, and no lived instance offers its readings back yet. The couplings that abundance run everywhere at the small scale. No society's own account of itself is written from them. The fields' language reaches it thinly. The sayings that come nearest name goods that do not diminish in the sharing. None yet names the growing. None yet names the surplus owned neither-ing. None yet names the receiving as the value. The standings are open at their own places. Abundancing at a society's whole scale is met so far only at the small. What the crossing carries when a field's own word for it arrives stands unmet. What a self opens next by coupling cleanly and rising stands unmet, and no coupling has opened it before. That last is abundancing's own question. It opens rather than closes, since **the never-before is what the reach is**.
